How do students understand themselves as math learners? How do they understand their own gender, race, ethnicity, class, disability and pedagogy in connection with mathematical ability? This workshop allows participants to learn about current work in equity and identities in math education, including analyzing student interviews from a recent research project with a group of Latina/o middle school kids with and without learning disabilities.
